Children often learn best when they are encouraged to ask questions. Dr. Ravi Bhatia has seen this for many years through his work as a pediatrician. Caring for young patients has shown him how naturally curious children are and how much they enjoy finding new facts. That belief led him to write quiz books that help young readers learn more about India in a fun and simple way.
Dr. Ravi Bhatia is an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) and works as a pediatrician in Udaipur. Along with his medical career, he has always loved quizzing. For him, a good quiz is more than a test of memory. It is a simple way to encourage children to think, ask questions, and build knowledge one step at a time.
His daily work with children helped shape his ideas as a writer. He noticed that children become more interested in learning when they are active participants instead of silent readers. A single question can lead to many more questions, making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
The Idea Behind a Quiz Series Focused on India
This idea became the foundation of the Let’s Quiz Kid series. Dr. Bhatia wanted to create books that would help children learn about India through short, engaging questions instead of long lessons. His aim was to make General Knowledge feel friendly and enjoyable for young readers.

The series began with Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 1 and later grew with Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 2. He also wrote IQ: The India Quotient in You, another quiz book centered on India. Each title shares the same goal of helping children build their knowledge about the country while enjoying the learning process.
What Makes Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 3 Different
His latest book, Let’s Quiz Kid Volume 3, carries that idea forward. The book has 500 questions based on India. The questions cover many subjects such as history, geography, science, sports, famous people, and culture. Instead of reading page after page of facts, children answer questions and learn something new with every page.
The book is suitable for reading at home, in classrooms, or during quiz competitions. Parents and teachers can also use it to make learning more enjoyable. Children can read it by themselves or with friends and family, turning learning into an activity that everyone can enjoy together.
Helping Students Think, Answer, and Grow
Dr. Bhatia’s interest in quizzing goes beyond writing books. He often conducts quiz programs for school children. These events give students a chance to learn, think quickly, and build confidence. His goal is not only to help children give the right answer but also to encourage them to stay curious and keep asking questions.
Writing each book takes him about a year. During that time, he spends many months selecting questions, checking facts, and making sure the content is suitable for young readers. He balances this work with his responsibilities as a doctor, showing the same care in both roles.
Writing More Books That Encourage Curiosity
His writing plans continue with two new books. One is a quiz book on Indian cricket, and the other is a non-fiction book about life in a medical college. Both projects reflect his interest in sharing knowledge through subjects that many readers enjoy.
Dr. Ravi Bhatia believes learning should never feel like a burden. Through his work as a pediatrician, quizmaster, and author, he encourages children to stay curious about India and the world around them. Every question in his books is a small step toward building a habit of learning that can last for life.
