New Delhi, October 2025:
The Bhartiya Shiksha Board (BSB) made headlines at the Defence Auditorium, New Delhi, with the launch of six thought-provoking books written by Wing Commander (Dr.) Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi (Retd.), Director General of the Bhartiya Shiksha Anusandhan Parishad (BSAP).
The event, attended by retired defence officers, senior academicians, educationists, and social leaders, marked a significant stride in India’s ongoing education reforms that aim to blend modern learning with Bharatiya cultural roots.
Six Books, One Vision: Blending Knowledge with Values
The newly released titles, authored in both Hindi and English, carry a unifying purpose — to make education practical, value-driven, and accessible to students across urban and rural India.
(Self Defence Science: The Voice of the Nation)
(Learn Artificial Intelligence While Living in Village – Hindi Edition)
(Virtues of Success from the Animal World)
(Prepare Yourself – Become a Soldier)
(How to Overcome Mobile and Television Addiction)
(Touch the Sky, Become Great – Success Mantras from World Literature)
The books, described by the audience as a “fusion of wisdom and practicality,” are aimed at young readers, parents, and teachers who wish to combine intellectual growth with moral grounding.
Empowering the Youth Beyond Classrooms
While addressing the gathering, Wing Commander (Dr.) Pushkal Vijay Dwivedi described the publication as an effort to make education more inclusive and inspiring.
“Our mission is to make knowledge reach every corner of the country — from big cities to small villages,” he said. “Education should empower, not intimidate. Through these books, we are simplifying advanced subjects like Artificial Intelligence and Self Defence for young learners while keeping them connected to Indian ethics and culture. Knowledge without character is hollow — and character without courage is incomplete.”
He further emphasized that both BSAP and the Bhartiya Shiksha Board are currently at the center of international academic discussions, following their bold initiative of introducing a new subject, ‘Self Defence Science’, under the Central Government’s national school education board.
The introduction of this subject, Dr. Dwivedi added, is a “historic step toward preparing a generation that is both intellectually competent and nationally conscious.”
BSAP’s Expanding Global Footprint
In his address, Mr. Gaurav Pandey, Director of the Bhartiya Shiksha Anusandhan Parishad, praised the vision of Dr. Dwivedi and reaffirmed BSAP’s growing global recognition.
“The educational reforms led by Wing Commander Pushkal Dwivedi are not only being discussed across India but also being studied internationally,” Mr. Pandey said. “These books represent a new chapter where technology meets tradition, and education goes beyond degrees to develop self-reliant, ethical, and forward-looking citizens.”
He highlighted that the BSAP’s educational framework aligns with the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision, promoting a self-sufficient and knowledge-rich society guided by Indian cultural consciousness.

The event concluded with a shared sentiment among attendees — that India’s next educational revolution will not come from outside influences, but from within Bharat’s own heritage. With the Bhartiya Shiksha Board and BSAP leading the way, this movement is seen as a major step toward reclaiming India’s intellectual sovereignty in the 21st century.
